CLEANING & WAITING AREA PROTOCOL

While we always value having a clean and sanitary office environment, we have increased these procedures drastically.

  • If there are lots of other patients still in the office, we might ask you to wait in your car. We will come get you or call you when we are ready to see you.
  • We are cleaning/sanitizing all surfaces and equipment that a patient touches in each phase of the exam.
  • Staff are encouraged to wash hands more frequently than normal.
  • We are reducing physical touch whenever possible.
  • For glasses, please only try on or touch glasses if you are intending to purchase. It's fun to try on glasses sometimes, even when you have no intentions of purchasing. Normally we encourage this, but please refrain from this temporarily.
  • For each pair of glasses touched/tried on, we will be UV-sanitizing thoroughly before placing back on display. Our opticians will be helping you know where to place the glasses, but please refrain from placing a frame back in the display area after touching to help us with this procedure.
  • Please do not allow children to try on glasses unsupervised.

EYEWEAR NEEDS

  • If you have any eyecare concerns or problems related to glasses and/or contact lenses, please contact the office at 402-807-3937 (call or text), email or through the Contact Us button on the top of the webpage.
  • If you are planning to come in to browse eyewear, please call to schedule an appointment to do so. This helps us ensure others will not be in the optical at the same time. Think of this as a private personal eyewear style party!
  • We are still happy to adjust and repair your glasses, but again, please call to schedule an appointment.
